Hey Cherries. Wow did we have torrential rain all day yesterday. It finally stopped but now it is very cloudy and overcast. Looks like it could rain again but I don't see how there can be anything else up there. No plans today. I will go through the new challenges now that my two challenges are up, but no scrapping for me today. I really have so many things that need to be done around the house that I keep putting off, and today I have to pick a project or two and just do it. It's not nice enough to do anything outside anyway. I don't even have to water my flowers. I do have to bring in and wash all the wet towels that are on the deck that got soaked in yesterday's rain. We keep them there so Twinkie has footing when she walks on the deck.

Glad you are able to dry out some, Barb!  It's always good not to have to water the flowers in the summer!

I had brunch with my work bestie, and we were able to enjoy some hot tub time before it got too warm outside. Now, I just need to keep packing for our trip and finish the laundry.

Glad your rain has subsided.  It has been raining here everyday but that is ok, we needed it sooo bad. Good luck with your project.

Slept in a little this morning, took me forever to fall asleep last night.  Been just picking up and doing some housework. Now I am making a couple things for school, I am already OVER ready for the first week.  Scrapped three layouts yesterday for the MMC's and will probably not scrap today but work on more negative scanning. Thank you!  It was delicious!  I got the Bacon, Corn, Tomato Pie on the menu...sort of like a quiche, but with a lot more veggies and less egg.

Been busy cleaning my house.  Got finished and need to jump in the shower now. Got my walk in too!  Then I can be free to craft. 

Had a little shower earlier, now the sun is shining.

88 degrees and a decent breeze today but the forecast is currently showing 100’s most of next week. Nothing going on. The seedlings and the bulbs I planted last week are all coming up already. I keep the earth damp around them with my watering can twice a day to discourage the cats from thinking I made them a new kitty bathroom area! lol. I forget what the bulbs are but the seeds are zinnias and Gerber daisies.

Uh oh. I’m hearing music and song lyrics inside my head . . . “Summertime and the livin’ is easy”

Hello Cherries!  

We got surprise company last night! Oldest stepson and youngest grandson (12) arrived! They are taking the travel trailer back to Ketchikan in a couple of days. We’ve known they were coming for a couple weeks. They were waiting for a space big enough on the ferry. 

I got one of the MMCs done and got the coloring part of the other one done yesterday.  Might be able to play awhile today. We will see.
