Scrap a Day, July 12th
Hey Cherries. Well my plans to work outside with the doggies didn't go as planned yesterday, as before I even got outside we had an unexpected, torrential downpour. It came out of nowhere. So everything got soaked and we stayed inside. I ended up making pop pups and homemade potato salad and juiced a bunch of lemons. Did some research on a new kitchen faucet. I have a touchless faucet and the top sensor just suddenly stopped working. But the front sensor, which I don't use because it is annoying, that sensor not only works it won't let me disable it. They don't make this one anymore I've had it a long time, so I did a bunch of research and have decided which one I am going to replace it with. After that decision I worked on a layout for the Baby/Kid challenge and it is close to being done.

Today DD and my sil will stop by at some point so he can look at and hopefully fix my shower, The mixing valve in it went and so I get scalding hot water that goes from not being able to be adjusted to suddenly ice cold. And back again. So today I hope he can get the part and get it fixed. It has been no fun taking a shower these days. After that I hope to finish the layout I was working on.

Have a great day Cherries.

Re: Scrap a Day, July 12th
Hot again and gaining humidity.  DH is working on the lawn and I'm keeping him hydrated!  Doing some inside clean up and then we will be retiring to our "caves" for the remainder of the day.  Had some rain last night so no need to water.  Our poor neighbors to the north got absolutely slammed again with rain and flooding.  It moved into Philly also and hope Louise/Traveler is okay.  Lancaster has seriously taken a beating this past 2 weeks.

Oooh… we are in for another scorcher today. Therefore hibernation! We reached 97 yesterday. Hotter than my sister in FL. Got a couple layouts done yesterday and will get them uploaded. Working away on this month’s challenges.

Did get out for my walk and watered the g
flowers.

Hope everyone enjoys their Sunday.

Good luck with your water repairs. Always so inconvenient.

Re: Scrap a Day, July 12th
It's hot and humid here too. We did alot of cleaning, vacuuming, washing bedding and towels yesterday. Chemo zaps my energy so I have to work alittle and take a break. I just listen to my body and rest when needed. Worked outside this morning weeding flowerbeds while DH fertilized the hanging flower pots on our deck. SIL got moved closer to a rehabilitation place near us yesterday. Offered for my brother and niece to stay at our place, but they stayed at the rehab place with SIL to make sure everything got along ok. She cannot and is not supposed to move anything much. 2 broken wrists and a broken hip. I hope this place takes good care of her. DH Brad just now went over to visit and see how things are going. I just showered and am ready for a quiet day scrapping and relaxing. This evening another SIL/BIL is having a cookout (an hour away) as their 4th of July fireworks got rained out.

Enjoy your blessed day, everyone!

Hello Cherries! 🍒

It’s a bit warmer today. But still cloudy and still. Steve let Spot and her chicks out into the run today. OMG she’s SOOOO happy!!! I love watching her on the camera! She was digging holes and they were running to see what she’d found. So CUTE!

I finished and posted a layout last night. Only the third one this month! :( Hoping I can get some play time today.

Hope you’re all having a great Sunday!!!

Re: Scrap a Day, July 12th
Checking in late today. Did loads of laundry today and some more housework. Feel like I am starting to turn the corner on getting better.  Dinner out last night was a total bust. Food was so so and then had major stomach problems when I got home. Needless to say I will not be going back to that place again.  Other than laundry and cleaning, just relaxing today and watching Sharkfest, love these programs.  Never got to drive yesterday so will try a little later this afternoon once hubby gets home from some errands. Wishing everyone a relaxing Sunday.

Re: Scrap a Day, July 12th
Heavy overcast, slight breeze and small chance of showers this evening with high temps around 87.

All this going and doing this week finally caught up with me. Was in bed a little after midnight last night and didn’t wake up until nearly 11 this morning! But very quiet day planned. I have to go get Dr. Pepper and Root Beer today so while at store I’ll pick up some Panera broccoli and Cheddar soup for supper. That will b it except for some card making and my usual evening walk if it doesn’t rain.

Have a serene Sunday.
