Hey Cherries. Our air quality remains extremely high, although going outside with the dogs this morning I would have thought it wasn't. There is no yellow tint today and no smell of smoke, yet the AQ numbers are higher than they were yesterday. Hopefully it is starting to get better. I'm going to get my roots colored this afternoon and then will go back to working on the layout I have been working on. It is starting to come together.

Our numbers are the highest ever recorded for our area!  You can see and smell the smoke.  It's terrible. I feel really bad for those that deal with this on a yearly basis.  Stay safe, cherries!  I will be staying inside today, for sure, but I have to go make my grocery pickup. Since we got back yesterday there isn't much to cook in the house. LOL

Our air is bad too, but I feel like it was worse when we had this in summer of 2023. I'm trying to stay in as much as possible and walk slowly with a mask when I need to go somewhere. My son was smart and took the car to a long air-conditioned movie that he wanted to see, perfect day for it. Hopefully it will clear tonight but the predictions keep changing so who knows. 

I was hoping to scrap most of the day but its hot in my craft room so I may go to a lower floor. I've have plenty to do in my house and every floor.

Terrible air quality here too.  Our index is close to 300.  No sun and nothing but a yellowish haze and smoky odor.  Our weather says it should start clearing out tomorrow evening and be more clear by Sunday.   We are going nowhere for sure!

We had it worse a few summers back. There was actually a haze and our AQ was in the purple range. We had yellow tinted sky yesterday and the day before and you could smell the smoke. But today it LOOKS better out but apparently our AQ  numbers are still high.

Hello Cherries!  

Thankfully no smoke or fires here! We’re sunny and warm at last! But we need some serious rain still. 

I’ve been trying to do little projects around the house. It helps my mood. Been having tummy troubles all week and I’m not sure why. Usually it’s because I’ve eaten something knowing I’ll react to it. But I haven’t done that in weeks. 

Hoping to get scrappy this afternoon. We will see how it goes.

Pleasant weather here. 92, blue skies and slight breeze. We usually get our fire/smoke issues late August through beginning of October.

Nothing going on. Younger DS will b home from Myrtle Beach tomorrow. Hopefully he can come spray the perimeter of the house early next week. Cleaned like crazy yesterday but still a couple new bug bites last evening.

I always feel bad for you Californians when the wildfires get so bad.   We usually don't have anything like this.  It is crazy!

Ours is the worst it's ever been, according to the forecasters. We set a record for AQI numbers...not one we want to set!
