Hey Cherries. We’re halfway through the month already, I need to start scrapping. Last night I started pulling papers and things for a project I want to work on. I decided on using my favorite Cocoa Vanilla collection, Daydream, for the bulk of it. The next step, which will be the hardest part, will be choosing the photos for it. If I can get through it I will have a precious mini album when I’m done. I’ve had this project floating around in my head for a while. I need to get it out now. We’ll see how far I can get with it today. I told myself I have to spend at least an hour cleaning up papers and things in my office. It’s gone on way too long things just piling up. I’m ashamed to say that I still have boxes and bags that I brought home when we cleared out my mom’s house. So much of it I’ve already gone through and stored in bins, but there’s more to do. Sigh. Then there’s the “I don’t know what to do with this” pile. That’s what makes me put this job off. So I told myself I have to work on that for a while and then can reward myself by getting in my craft room. That’s the plan, we’ll see how it actually goes.
Have a great day Cherries.

Perfect weather day today! High of 77 with no humidity and a nice breeze. Burping the house! DH is golfing and I just go back from a run to the farm stand for peppers. Now having a coffee and working on getting the rest of my things together for a Friday crop with Katie. Sunflower fields tomorrow and Uber service for DGD in the afternoon. Have a good day Cherries!

Hey Cherries! I am sort of back in the land of the living. I came down with something (the flu? covid?) last Thursday and you know when you are terribly sick and you feel you will be that way forever and that's just the way life will be now? Well, that LOL. I'm still not 100% - coughing and still feel a little like a wet noodle but better than I was. I did nothing but sleep and lie around and watch TV which is totally not like me. I slept later than the 20yo, ha-ha. I've had the same layout on my table for over a week and want to get it finished. And don't ask how far behind on copy editing I am - sheesh! On top of everything, the toilet in the main bathroom got a crack in the tank and had to tell the landlord - not fun. But we have a brand-new toilet after all day installation yesterday. I thought I'd be able to relax with everybody going back to work but had workers in the house all day. Today I'm waiting for a PO pickup, copy editing, and working on my Dolly layout and cleaning the scrap area. That's the plan anyway - we'll see what shakes out. Off to catch up now...hope everybody is okay!

Your mini album sounds like a great project. I always find that playing with my favorite collection is a big mojo helper. Good luck with your cleaning project too - I have a few decluttering projects I need to tackle as well. Trying to find a good audiobook before I do that LOL! But a scrappy reward works too!

90 today and very little breeze but tomorrow back down into early fall temps. Sat down to do some of the challenges yesterday afternoon and hadn’t cleaned up from the Halloween/Autumn cards from earlier yet. lol. Yup more autumn cards. The month is half over and I’ve only done one challenge.
Not much going on. Need to wash my hair and also clean up the patio a bit. Trying to remember when I watered all my succulents/cactuses
last. With the weather cooling down and more moisture in the air, no longer need it once a week. lol oh well
Have a tolerable Tuesday.

Awwww Anne-Marie that sucks. I had something just like that last fall and it was no fun at all. I am glad you are finally starting to feel better.scrappinmom99 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 15, 2026 11:03 amHey Cherries! I am sort of back in the land of the living.
