The journaling says: There are no pools in Philly. Well, there are swim clubs, but those cost hundreds of dollars to join! This fact upsets this Texas girl to no end! I crave the smell of chlorine and the feeling of being submerged in cool water on a hot day. When Vasilies took me to his father's pool, I did the happy dance! Then, we arrived there and discovered that the water was cold. No, "frigid" is a better word! At least I got to nap in the sun as the essence of chlorine drifted through the air. Maybe one day I will finally get to swim in Philly!
