Sketch with Twist

I was going to use our silver Christmas tree as the fad but then came across this old photo. I scanned an old polaroid picture that my brother took back in 1964 or 1965 when he was practicing with his new camera. It didn't age well. I tried to do a repair on it but couldn't get it with some of those dark areas.

pps - Asuka Studio, BoBunny, Photoplay; used a CM punch for the hexagons and HOTP Dazzles for flowers and tiny butterflies (thank you to Elissa for those); alphas and bow - Paper Studio.

Love that you scrapped this pretty photo of yourself! I remember those flips! The background paper is perfect, and I love the blues, how you doubled your hexagons and double matted your photo. Lovely page, Susan!!

great photo! love the background pp, totally looks 60s to me :) i really like how you backed the hexies with different blue shades and the journaling strips! i love the silver Christmas trees too :)

I love that picture of you - don't know what you are talking about it not being a good photo - you look beautiful. My mom had that flip but with my VERY curly hair (take after my dad, LOL) I could never have done anything like that! That sweater background is absolutely perfect for a 60s b&W photo.

I guess we can all date ourselves with the "flip". I had one, too. I love that sweater paper, I have some to use, and it looks lovely with the blue.
