My dear friend from college is about to have her first child. She's a puppeteer and her husband is an animator (yes, they live in L.A.) On a recent visit to a local pumpkin patch - do they HAVE pumpkins in L.A.? - they decided to snap their first family portrait. And, as usual, had to make a unique statement. Look closely at the pumpkin in the middle... it's her pregnant tummy! Painted like a pumpkin - lines and everything!! I roared with laughter when I saw this and just HAD to scrap it!

Gosh I miss them - the whole country between us. Best of luck Robbie & Sea! Your baby is very fortunate to have two talented, creative, loving parents, with just a wee-tilted sense of humor. Love it!!
