I created this frame to give to my dad for Father’s Day this year. I have to admit that I haven’t been as good as I would like sending updated pictures of my kids to my father who lives 6 hours away. I thought a frame with a recent photo would be the perfect personalized gift!
I’ve used the Great Grid papers in white and black for the backdrop of the frame. To create a subtle splash of color, I cut out 6 roses from the Chartreuse Dream Spring fever (coming up roses) paper and layered them on the side of the frame. I cut a strip of green polka dot paper from the Singin’ in the Rain May flowers paper and added a zigzag stitch up the middle before adhering it to the frame. I added the coasters and ribbon onto green strip of paper. To finish off the project, I added photo corners and two small pieces of patterned paper from the Ground Cover paper on 2 corners of the frame. Thanks for looking!
Supplies used:
Bare Elements Peggy Frame: Creative Imaginations
Great Grid Paper – black and white
Chartreuse Dream – Spring Fever collection (Coming up Roses, Ground Cover)
Chloe’s Closet – Singin’ in the Rain (May flowers)
Coasters: Project Essentials – Mixed Date White circles small
Project Essentials - Did you get the memo? White signs
Project Essentials – Calendar Corners
