i hope no one is offended that i am posting a layout of mardi gras with all the devastation going on in new orleans. we lived in new orleans for 3 years and i have been so upset that doing a layout of our time there made me feel better. i mean no disrespect. paper scraps compliments of kim (thanks) basic grey monograms jolees stickers basic grey letter stickers mm foam stamps bonneymead dymo labeler great balls of fiber ribbon misc beads tfl!

Fantastic layout, love all the different elements and diagonal placement of the phrases. I think it's great to remember the good times, they will have them again and it's a way to look forward as well as back.

I know most people think of New Orleans, but that phrase always reminds me of Universal Studios Mardi Gras - that's the only Mardi Gras I've ever been to and we try to go every year except we didn't go last year (it lasts for 6 weeks in Feb/March).

This is wonderful. While there is a lot of suffering going on it is important that everyone remember so that the rebuilding and recreating can begin! This includes remembering fun times. We all hope that in the future NO will regain its old spirit.
