What a great way to get another LO done of this vacation!<BR><BR><BR><BR>Verbiage: "June 24, 2005<BR><BR>These were our first glimpses of the scenery at Cabrillo National Monument in San Diego. It is less than one square mile near the southern end of Point Loma, a narrow spur of land jutting out into the Pacific Ocean. We had a great view of San Diego Bay, wildflower-covered hillsides, an historic lighthouse, and tidepools along a rocky coastline. The sandstone peninsula rises 422 feet above sea level."
