For this layout, I knew I wanted a lighter background.
1. I used an old sheet of Basic Grey from my stash that matched the Kaiser Pearls.
2. Then I carefully cut a large 12x12 blue scalloped frame to layer on top of the lighter paper. This way I was able to save most of the blue paper for another layout.
3. I cut a brown photo mat and placed it underneath the transparency, then layered the transparency with my photo on the top.
4. Since the transparency had lots of flowers and flourishes, I played with flowers, chipboard, and the Kaiser Pearls.
5. Lastly, I used the journaling space for the word "Family" within my title.
**Tip** When using transparencies, I like to use glue dots to hold everything together. By layering things, I was able to use approximately 10 glue dots to hold the transparency onto the paper. None of them show because they are all underneath the embellishments.
