This is the card I made for my mom for her 90th birthday. I used the Sizzix Jar of Flowers die set and jar domes that came in a recent Cherry Box. Because I decided I wanted to use the die where the jar pops though from the back, and since the jar dome is not open at the top, I faked an illusion of the stems going into the jar. I first put the stems in the jar from behind before I added the shaker bits and glued on a back to the jar. Then after pushing the "jar" through the die cut and glueing it in place, I added stems to the cardstock front and lined them up to the stems in the jar, giving it the illusion that they went right through the top into the jar.
I had so much fun with this and I definitely want to make more and more jars of flowers! I just love the effect so much! My mom loved it and said I should work for Hallmark, but honestly if it took Hallmark as long to make a card as it did for me to make this one, they would have gone out of business a long time ago. LOL! We all know how much of a slowpoke scrapper/crafter I am. Thanks for looking!
