What's New..
by gypsysladyJun 14, 2005

These pictures were form Aug. 03, when my ds came home for a long weekend to deliver his used truck to me. Gd Erynn came to spend some time with him and had to follow him everywhere. She topped it off by having to sit by him and "read the paper".

I am very proud of myself as I broke down and actually put ink on top of my background paper and on the edges of the mattes. I used a white pigment ink to tone down the newsprint.

Background - Mustard Moon-newspaper/olive

mattes - Mustard Moon-wallstreet/olive and red cardstock

Lettering - Mustard Moon- Postage Paper large and small/olive

HOTP - Typewriter Alphabet and Tag Art Letters

I tried to make the journaling look like it was an article from the paper. Don't know if I succeeded, but I did try something new today. Marcy should be proud. lol

Great Job!
I love the white distressing!
Carolyn
I think this looks great! Love the photos and the mats really help bring them out.
You gave me an idea for using newspaper patterned paper that isn't heritage!
LOVE IT!!! This would qualify as "distressing" as I demo'd it the other night!
I really like how you muted the newsprint
Great JOB!
