One of Alex's visits with Santa turned into a bit of a therapy session. The journaling is tucked in the pocket behind the pic.
It reads:
You had a very bad day in early December, talking back & being very sassy. So...I had to make the call to Santa. He told me he "would have to put you on the naughty list for the remainder of the day." He also said he would "call us back after dinner to see how the rest of your day went." He was hoping to move you back to the nice list before bedtime.
Santa DID call back that evening and said, "he was so happy with you" and you were "back on the nice list!" We were so happy that we celebrated with cocoa and a Christmas movie. Well, a few days later Grandma took you to Yankee Candle to visit Santa...you spilled your guts to him - apologizing for not listening to me & Dad, being sassy. You told him you were sad you were on the naughty list. Santa assured you over & over again that you were on the nice list. He said he would make sure he didn't miss our house on Christmas Eve. You promised him we wouldn't forget the milk & cookies.
My call to Santa worked like a charm but I think you were a bit traumatized.
