I am SO jealous.  I would LOVE to see U2.  Would also like to see Pink Floyd, but I have never heard of them being anywhere near me.

My first was a singer that will amaze you.  Yes, he goes back that far.

First Concert:  Santana / Blue Oyster Cult / and one long forgotten group at Sam Houston Coliseum (last concert in that venue in H -Town)  1976
Favorite:  ELO for the light show with their wonderful music 1978 Houston Summit Out of the Blue
Last Concert:  Genesis Houston Astrodome 1993, We Can't Dance

Another favorite band:  Chicago, saw them twice.

I have only been to three concerts in my life and I cannot even remember the second one so, obviously not memorable.  My girlfriend bought me the ticket for Nickelback for my birthday celebration... It was a blast!

I'm right in that age group, too! I would have LOVED to see Genesis. I have to go change my entry, because I saw Santana, not Black Sabbath. You're so lucky - you got to see Blue Oyster Cult - I got Ted Nugent.

I am so envious - I would have loved to see Billy Joel and Genesis. I hope you enjoyed them enough for both us us

we have seen lots of state fair type concerts.....but DH isn't much for concerts so no big arena type ones in A LONG TIME

First concert: Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band. Born in the USA tour in 1985. My parents let my sister & I wait on line for tickets overnight with a woman my mother worked with.  We were 15 & 16 years old and stayed up all night with mostly strangers in midtown Manhattan. 

Favorite concert: U2 - the Vertigo Tour in 2005. 

Last concert: Billy Joel series at the Garden in April 2014
