I haven't been around much in the past few months. I have popped in here and there but life has been crazy busy for me. Work has been super stressful and it has been hard to deal with. I have shared some of the problems I have had there here before. I work with behaviorally challenged high schoolers, (not by choice-I was transferred into that job 3 years ago) and I have been unable to get a different job in the school district. They were keeping me there because I am good at what I do. I made the decision this year that if I couldn't get out of this program and into a different position then I was quitting the school district and going somewhere else.
Finally!!! My prayers have been answered and I was offered a position at an elementary school right down the road from my house. I can walk to work! I will be working with the age groups I love to work with. I have 16 more school days in the classroom I am at now and then its summer!
