My husband decided last week to make old fashioned cake doughnuts. The hidden journaling reads:

Ryan's grandmother used to make old fashioned cake doughnuts every year for Easter. Remembering how tasty these doughnuts were, Ry decided to try a recipe in the Betty Crocker Cookbook to see if he could simulate the taste. The doughnuts were very good but the recipe was not the same as he remembered. I was so impressed by my husband's efforts, that I had to take photos and scrapbook a page. I wanted for others to get a little glimpse into our lives and see one of the many reasons why I love the man.

Supplies used:

Bazzill cardstock

Raffia

Ever After Wheat Reverse paper

K&Co Heritage Golden Wide Stripes paper

Karen Foster Soda Fountain Stickers

Jolees By You Cookbook stickers

Stampin up alphabets stamps embossed with gold embossing powder

misc brads and hinge...

Thanks for looking!

-Kari
