These are the invitations that I made for Maddie's Sweet 16 party. She is not into girly girl she loves her black lol. She is looking at having a black and red party and I came up with some designs for her and this is the one she liked the best. I made 50 of these! It was a lot of die cutting and poking out all the pieces that were stuck in the die each time, but totally worth it to do it for her. I used Concord & 9th cardstock because I love the way it die cuts. I ran the dies through back and forth twice each time using a metal shim and they cut great. Lots of confetti lol.
I printed out the inside on matte photo paper on my photo printer and used my tape runner to glue it in. Yes it took a lot of black ink but came out really well. Looked almost like it was velvet. I then then used the tape runner to seal down the sides and mailed them in black envelopes.
